Durban trade port secures foreign investment deals
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
Foreign investment worth more than R3-billion's been pumped into the Dube Trade Port this financial year.

The corporation's Hamish Erskine says they've clinched deals with a number of private investors from India and China, to open up facilities at Trade Zone one - north of Durban.
It's already home to state-of-the-art technology hubs, automobile assembly plants and greenhouses.
"There are significant BRICs investors. On the fiber optic side, we have Yangtze Optics Africa from China. On the healthcare side, those investments are in the pharmaceutical sector. That's the area we are focusing a lot of attention," he said.
Erskine says they're hoping to attract more investments.
Trade Zone Two will be launched in early July.
