Government published amended regulations under Level 3 of the COVID-19 lockdown on Thursday evening.
President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the new regulations last week which sees a number of business sectors reopened to the public.
Ramaphosa said that restrictions will be eased for restaurants, cinemas and theatres, casinos and personal care services.
While personal care services have already been given the green light to open their doors, the restaurant and casino industries have had to play the waiting game.
Each sector will open their doors under strict protocols. While restaurants are now allowed sit-down meals, no onsite consumption of alcohol is permitted.
