Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube has announced a number of interventions, following the murder of activist - Judah Mthethwa.
He was assassinated at his home in Manguzi last week.
The measures include upgrades to the Manguzi police station, the deployment of more law enforcement teams and vehicles, and the establishment of a mobile police station.
