Forensic social worker, Karen Botha delivered her 'Victim Impact Statement' for the family on Thursday morning.

She says the child's mother says she relives the incident everyday.

Botha says as far as the sentencing is concerned, the family briefed them on what they feel should happen.

"Then asked what there expectations after sentencing should be, the biological mother indicated her words: 'Give him live, without parole.' The maternal aunt stated, her words: 'He must get what he deserved.'''

The court later heard that the rape survivor feels like the man convicted of her rape, could kill her if he is set free.

"The boy said that he would kill me. I still feel like he could kill me when he gets out of jail."

Botha says the girl's overall experiences to the rape and the trauma after the incident made her feel "angry, scared, upset and fearful."

"This is difficult for me and my family. I am just glad that my mom's friend called the police, he practically saved my life."

Botha told the court the child's family says she has completely changed after the incident.

"It is concluded that the victim has suffered physical, emotional as well psychological trauma as a result of the rape perpetrated by Nicholas Ninow."

"The emotional impact and the scaring of the abuse has impacted dramatically on the emotional well-being. This will continue for the rest of her life and the likelihood that she will have ongoing theory."

"It is thus recommended that the court take the decision into consideration when sentencing the accused," says Botha.
