Girl falls to her death in Durban CBD

Police are probing the circumstances that led to an 8-year-old girl plunging to her death in the Durban city centre last night.

Officials say she fell from the fourth floor window of a building at the corner of Carlisle and Dr Yusuf Dadoo Streets.
It is understood the child had been here on holiday.

"At this stage it is not clear what caused her to fall from the building," he said.
