Gender violence march: Rape survivor calls for justice
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
A KwaZulu-Natal multiple rape survivor who took part in today's anti-violence march in Durban has spoken about how the justice system has failed her.
The 30-year-old woman says she was raped several times by people she had trusted.
She says she's opened cases with police, written to the Premier and the Public Protector but with no success.

The woman says she feels absolutely let down.
"It has destroyed me completely because I have tried everything in my power to get justice - government departments, ANC offices - yet I did not get assistance. Each time I've reported the cases, no one has taken me seriously. I just want justice," she said.
