WATCH: Gang blows up armoured van in KwaMashu heist

There was high drama in
KwaMashu, north of Durban on Wednesday morning involving some 20
cash-in-transit robbers.

Three people were hurt in an apparent heist on Malendela Road.
Reports from the scene were that the gang blew up an armoured vehicle in an attack.
Kyle van Reenen, who's with Emer-G-Med Paramedics, said their team was called to assist.

"The scene was completely chaotic. Further assistance was requested through various channels by the police to come through and take control of the scene, and they did respond quickly to the scene."
This is the second CIT attack in Durban in the past 24 hours. A security guard was killed yesterday when a cash van was targeted near Folweni.
