Fourth suspect in N2 shootout dies

KZN Police have confirmed that a fourth suspect involved in the N2 shooting on Queen Nandi Drive, yesterday, has died.

Three other suspects were fatally shot by police during the incident.
The shootout occurred following a high level speed chase that resulted in a multi-vehicle crash, which brought traffic to stand still for hours. Police Spokesperson Thulani Zwane.
"We received information that the suspect was admitted to hospital after there was a shooting between the suspect and police on the N2. He passed away. That means four suspects passed away and one is still in hospital receiving treatment," he says.

Forensic experts are analysing evidence and firearms recovered from the scene of the shooting.
