Four murder suspects killed in Inanda shootout

Four suspects, believed to be behind a string of murders and violent crimes in Durban, have been killed in a shootout with police.

They were killed at a house in Inanda, north of Durban, on Monday night after police received intelligence on their whereabouts.
It's reported the officers then entered the house and found five suspects.

During their arrests, it's alleged two of the suspects managed to draw their firearms and a shootout ensued.
"One suspect fled the scene, and the police are hot on his heels," says police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda.
"No police was injured during the shootout. The deceased suspects, who are believed to be in their thirties were alleged to be behind a spate of murders and other violent crimes in the eThekwini District."
