Four killed in taxi crash near Mvoti Toll Plaza
Updated | By Natarah Nadesan
At least four people have been killed in a double-vehicle crash on the N2 north before the Mvoti Toll Plaza.

A minibus taxi and a bakkie collided on Wednesday morning.
Details surrounding the smash are still sketchy, but reports from the scene are that the driver of the bakkie apparently lost control of the vehicle on the southbound side, crossed the centre median and slammed into the taxi.

"Two persons have been entrapped in the vehicle and four have succumbed to their injuries," says Medi Response KZN spokesperson Paul Herbst.
"Multiple injured persons are currently on scene and inquiries range from moderate to severe. Advanced life support paramedics are working to stabilise the injured and extricate them from the entrapped vehicle.
"The driver of the light motor vehicle is one of the deceased."
