Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Four people have been attacked by a swarm of bees in southern Durban.
Netcare 911 says three men and woman were stung all over their bodies.
Spokesperson Shawn Herbst says the incident happened on Tuesday morning in Grosvenor on the Bluff.
"When medics arrived on scene, they found that four people, three males and a female had sustained multiple bee stings throughout their body after a bee hive was disturbed while garden services were busy cleaning the yard.

"All four patients were treated on scene by advanced life support paramedics and once stabilised were transported to hospital for further care."
Herbst says there are various ways to avoid being stung if a beehive is disturbed.
"First try and get away from the bees and be careful not to get stung yourself. If you got access to water use a tap or a hosepipe and try and spray [yourself] and obviously call an ambulance."
