Four hurt as car crashes into Mpumalanga home

Authorities are investigating the cause of a crash in the Mpumalanga area, near Hammarsdale that left four people hurt after a car crashed into a house.
Initial indications are that the driver of the car lost control and crashed the vehicle into the home.

Netcare911 says three people from the car, including the grandmother who had been behind the wheel, a 12-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy, were hurt.Another person who had been inside the home was also injured.

Medics say all four people were found to be in a stable condition and sustained relatively minor injuries."They were treated on scene before being taken to hospital for further assessment and care," said Netcare911 spokesperson, Nick Dollman.

Meanwhile, more than a dozen people were hurt, including school children, in two separate crashes in Durban this morning.
