Former Durban mayor, Zandile Gumede back in court
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Supporters of Durban's former mayor, Zandile Gumede, say she's merely a victim of a political agenda.

A spokesperson for the group, Mzomuhle Dube says members will turn out for her court appearance today.
"We are hoping that they will have charges as they promised or have a meaningful explanation in terms of what will happen now going forward."

Gumede and her 16 co-accused are facing fraud and corruption-related charges relating to a multi-million-rand DSW tender.
In September the State was granted another postponement to finalise a forensic audit report. Meanwhile, Gumede's attorney wants the matter to be struck off the roll.
