Former Bafana Bafana star Anele Ngcongca dies in horror KZN crash

Former Bafana Bafana player Anele Ngcongca has died.
The 33-year-old was involved in a car crash at 5:00am on Monday morning on the N2 near Mtunzini.
KZN police said the vehicle had lost control and overturned.
According to emergency personnel on the scene, he was declared dead on the scene.
A woman who was in the car with him is
currently in critical condition in hospital.

"The driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for medical attention. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
"A case of culpable homicide has been opened for investigation by Mtunzini SAPS," said police spokesperson Jay Naicker.
Ngcongca who was born in Cape Town earned 53 caps for South Africa and featured for Bafana Bafana at the 2010 World Cup.
He also enjoyed a successful club career, spending 9 years at Belgium based club Genk before returning home to play for Mamelodi Sundowns.
