Focus needed on role of traditional healers in crime: ANC KZN

The African National Congress in KZN says it's working with the provincial government to reach out to traditional healers in the battle against crime.
The party commented on the roles traditional healers play in crime in KZN.
It's after ten members of a single family were gunned down in Pietermaritzburg's Imbali township.

Suspects were caught while performing a 'cleansing ceremony' conducted by a traditional healer.
The party's deputy provincial secretary Bheki Mtolo briefed the media on the outcome of the ANC's latest PEC meeting on Wednesday.
"It is those who understand the tradition who should stand up and defend their tradition. Strong action and vigilance from traditional leaders will assist in reducing such actions and other misconduct."
