Four arrests made in Mariannhill family murder

Four people have been arrested in connection with the murder of five family members in Mariannhill, outside Pinetown.
They were gunned down on Thursday night, when their attackers opened fire on them in Nteke.
Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says Mariannhill detectives and KwaNdengezi SAPS embarked on an operation in Nteke in the early hours of yesterday morning after receiving a tip-off.
Officers arrested three suspects in connection with the murders.

A fourth suspect was arrested in KwaNdengezi in the afternoon. The Mariannhill attack was the second family massacre in KZN last week.
Eight relatives, including six children, were shot before their homes were set alight in the Matimatolo area, near Greytown on Tuesday.
