Firefighters tackle blaze at McDonald's Old Fort Road

Seven people are being treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at the McDonalds restaurant in KE Masinga Road, formerly Old Fort Road, in Durban this morning.
Rescue Care's Ceron Lennox says the kitchen caught on fire.

"They have managed to subside the fire a little bit, but the fire department is still inside making sure that it is one hundred percent out. No serious injuries have been reported at this stage" she said.
