Father charged with son's brutal murder in Estcourt

A KwaZulu-Natal father arrested in connection with the murder of his three-year-old son will undergo mental observation.
Thirty-six-year-old Themba Majozi made his first appearance in the Estcourt Magistrate's Court on Monday.

The child was last seen on Thursday - when Majozi took him from his grandmother's home in Thembelihle.
The boy's mutilated body was found in a bush the following day.
Police say Majozi was arrested after the child's missing body parts were discovered in his home.
KZN NPA spokesperson Natasha Kara said: "He was charged with murder as well as possession of human tissue. The matter was postponed to December 2."
