Fatal shooting in Durban CBD
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
There's been a fatal shooting at a taxi rank in the vicinity of Dr Pixley KaSeme and Brook streets in the Durban CBD this morning.

Reports from the scene suggest as many as six people may have been killed but police can only confirm three fatalities. Netcare911's Chris Botha says paramedics are also treating those with minor injuries.
"Paramedics were called out to a shooting incident at a taxi rank believed to be the Port Shepstone taxi rank in Brook Street. Three others have sustained gunshot wounds.
"They are relatively minor injuries. Paramedics are treating those three patients at the moment and transporting them through to nearby hospitals," he said.
The police's Thulani Zwane says the motive for the shooting is still unclear at this stage.
"Four suspects were arrested and seven firearms recovered as well. They will be taken for ballistics test to check whether they were used in the shooting and any other crimes,"he said.
