Updated | By Lauren Beukes
An Inanda family is mourning the loss of their teenage daughter - who died after suspected car thieves ploughed a car into her and several other children.

Obuhle Shonga died in hospital following the incident on Monday night.
She and five other children had been walking along a road when the car struck them. The suspects fled the scene.
Police believe the vehicle was stolen in Newlands East.
Obuhle's cousin, Nomzamo Shonga says she rushed to the scene as soon as she heard what had happened.
"When I went to the scene, I saw her lying there. I couldn't believe it. I tried helping, but there was nothing I could have done."
Shonga says her cousin was a lovely child and the family is shattered.
"We are not taking this very well. It's very saddening. We are going through a lot of pain right now."
Police are investigating charges of culpable homicide, reckless and negligent driving.
