His sister, Siphiwe, has spoken to Newswatch about what she saw moments before the 15-year-old was killed.
"A group of men carrying guns came knocking at our door at night and when we asked who it is they said they are the police. We opened the door and once inside they demanded to see my brother. Because it was dark they had a torch light - they looked for him all over the house and eventually found him hiding under the bed.
"They dragged him and as they were about to shoot him I insisted they stop as there is is also a baby in the house. They agreed and took him outside and moments later we heard a gunshot," she said.
The accused are facing charges of murder and possession of an unlicensed firearms.
