Family hopeful missing doctor Vidwaan Singh still alive

The family of missing Pietermaritzburg doctor, Vidwan Singh believes he is still alive.
The 72-year-old doctor went missing last Tuesday. He was last seen leaving his surgery.
A police search began and Singh's empty car was found near Howick Falls.
The search for him is continuing for a sixth day.

His brother-in-law Neren Anand says they remain hopeful.
"We are still hopeful, he is still under missing persons and we are still searching for doctor Singh."
"It's tragic circumstances, because we haven't seen him, it's almost going to be a week. Its taking a toll, we have got a lot of support from everyone," he said.
Anand has urged anyone with information to contact relevant authorities.
"If anyone who knows the whereabouts of doctor Singh. Where they have last seen him. Any information they have that can help the police and the community at large, if they can bring it forward to us please," he said.
