A former provincial police chief has been appointed as the interim head of eThekwini Municipality's integrity and investigation unit.

Thulani Ntobela will lead the unit for the next six months.
It's after the former head of the unit Mbuso Ngcobo resigned from the position.
The municipality says the 62-year-old Ntobela will ensure that critical investigations are conducted while the position is advertised.
"Ntobela, is the former Mpumalanga Provincial Police Commissioner and possesses a depth of expertise in general and forensic investigations having served in the position for five years between November 2009 to October 2014," says spokesperson Gugu Sisilana.
"Ntobela holds an LLB from the University of South Africa and a B Juris Degree from the University of Zululand. He is an admitted Advocate of the High Court."
