Ex Grosvenor High School pupils who experienced racism urged to give evidence

The Economic Freedom Fighters in the eThekwini region is asking former pupils who experienced racism at Grosvenor Girls' High School to come forward.

The party's welcomed the suspension of the principal, following allegations of racism and pending an investigation into these claims.

Education MEC Kwazi Mshengu went to the Bluff school last week to quell tensions after protests by pupils.
The EFF's Themba Mvubu says there have been issues at the school for years.
"This issue is not new. Everyone who has anything to say must go to the panel that has been established. So that we can get concrete evidence."

"Eventually, once that has been concluded, we hope that the racists will be removed from that school permanently. So that is our expectation after the whole investigation has been finalised."
