eThekwini urges residents to pay their bills
Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
The eThekwini Municipality has asked that residents continue to make payments towards their monthly municipal bills.

Residents haven't received their statements via post - since the start of lockdown – which made it hard for many to settle their accounts.
Some KwaZulu-Natal municipalities sent them through email.

eThekwini spokesperson, Msawakhe Mayisela says statements were also made available.
"Our supermarkets that we are working with are ready to accept payments. Those who have access to the internet can go to a link on our website that will enable them to request their bills to be sent to them.
"But if you can look at how much we pay per month there is some revenue that has to come into the City."
