Plans are already in the pipeline to attract more international investors to Durban and the rest of KZN.

Organisers have been commenting after Africa’s Travel Indaba wrapped up at the Durban ICC this week.
Thousands of delegates and international media flocked to the renowned travel and tourism marketing event. 20 African and 80 international countries were represented this year.
eThekwini’s Philip Sithole says they want to see Durban becoming a leading investment, travel and business destination.

"As part of consolidating that effort, the mayor and MEC Zikalala will be leading a delegation that is going to Newcastle, London as well as Liverpool.
"In June, if I am not mistaken, the mayor will be announcing Team Durban - a team that will work closely with the mayor going forward and advise the mayor on how to attract and sustain foreign direct investment," Sithole said.
