eThekwini reopens some beaches
Some of the beaches in eThekwini reopened to the public on Friday.
They've been closed to bathers for weeks due to high levels of E.Coli.
E.Coli levels in the sea shot up following the floods in April, prompting city officials to bar people from going into the water.
eThekwini says it's been conducting daily tests to monitor levels.

It says the latest results indicate they are now within acceptable levels at some beaches.
The beaches that have been reopened are Amanzimtoti; Warner; uMgababa; uMhlanga Rocks; uMdloti; Addington; Bronze; Bay of Plenty; Wedge; North; Country Club; uShaka; Battery; Southern and Vetch Pier in Point.
Others, including Beachwood Mangrove, Suncoast, Umhlanga Rocks Lighthouse and Granny's Pool remain closed for swimming but are open for fishing, religious and spiritual rituals and walking dogs.
