Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Eskom has started implementing Stage 2 loadshedding from 6am this morning and is expected to last till 11pm tonight.
The power utility yesterday announced that it needed to implement load shedding to replenish depleted emergency generations ahead of the coming week.
It says this is also due to unforeseen breakdowns at plants, where it's conducting planned maintenance for the summer period.
