Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Expect to pay even more for your electricity. The National Energy Regulator has approved Eskom's application to claw back R13 billion it spent on supplying power during the 2018/19 financial period.
The power producer was aiming to recoup just over R27 billion.
Eskom's Hasha Tlhothlalemaje says they were given the go-ahead by NERSA this week.

Tlhothlalemaje says the decision that NASA has made is a balanced decision of 13.3 billion with the 18/19 financial year, the year that has just passed.
"NASA will make a subsequent decision to basically pass this onto the tariff and the likelihood is that that process will only start on the fifth of April 2021, in the next financial year."
