Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
Strategies to prop up beleaguered Eskom and strengthen energy security are being discussed with some of the country's top business executives.
The utility says it has met with leaders from over 70 private institutions to flesh out plans to boost power supply, and reduce load shedding.
The discussions with teams from Business Leadership SA, the JSE and other companies come after the president outlined sweeping plans to deal with our prolonged energy crisis.
Eskom spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha says sustainable electricity supply is the goal.
