Hospersa spokesperson, Kevin Halama, says last year there were more than 100 attacks on EMS personnel in the Western Cape alone.
"At the moment, in Cape Town, there's a bit of uncertainty and pressure. Our members feel government is not listening to them. The loss of the young boy is testament of the pressures they work with on a day-to-day basis," he says.
