Elderly man shot in head at Morningside home
A Durban man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was shot in the head in Morningside.
The incident happened at a home on Hendry Road on Tuesday.
The circumstances are not clear at this stage.
"Reports from the scene are that a a male approximately sixty years of age sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was found in a critical condition," say Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle Van Reenen.

"The man was treated and stabilized on scene by Emergency Care Practitioners before being taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
"The facts surrounding the incident and the events preceeding it are unclear and will form the subject of a South African Police Services investigation."
