Security officer shot multiple times near Pinetown
A security officer has suffered multiple gunshot wounds after he was shot during a robbery in Kwadabeka, near Pinetown.
Reports from the scene are that the man, who's in his mid-thirties, was wounded in the township's S section.
Emer-G-Med spokeperson Kyle van Reenen says one of their teams treated the victim on Tuesday morning.

"On arrival on scene, a male believed to be approximately 35 years old, was found to have sustained multiple high-calibre gunshot wounds in an armed robbery incident.
"The man was treated and stabilised on scene by emergency care practitioners before being airlifted with the assistance of the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter to a specialist facility for the definitive care that he required."
