Elderly angler suffers fatal heart attack in Umhlanga

An elderly man has died after he suffered a cardiac episode while fishing in Umhlanga.
Netcare 911's Shawn Herbst says medics were alerted after the angler collapsed while on the beach.

"Medics responded and found a man believed to be in his 70s had collapsed and resuscitation was in progress.
"A full advance life support resuscitation was initiated; however, the resuscitation was unsuccessful and the patient sadly passed away. He had an extensive history of cardiac issues."
