EFF to lodge complaint with IEC over PMB altercation
Updated | By Xolani Khumalo
The EFF says it's preparing to lodge a complaint with the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) after its members were blocked from entering a voting station in Pietermaritzburg.
Malema slammed the actions as political intolerance.
He eventually managed to gain access to the voting station.
It's alleged that some ANC members barred party leader Julius Malema from monitoring voter registration at Sakhamuzi Community Hall in KwaDambuza yesterday.

The EFF's election spokesperson is Leigh-Ann Mathys says a political party cannot block access.
“It belongs to IEC, it's a voting station. It's criminal for a political party to do that and just do it so brashly."
“They didn't care, all the media outlets were there and they continued what they were doing. Obviously, the EFF will continue to use the avenues available to them and we will wait for a response from the IEC.”
