DUT students demand justice for Mlungisi Madonsela

DUT students say they want justice for Mlungisi Madonsela, who was shot earlier this year.

The 20-year-old student died in hospital after being shot during an alleged scuffle with private security guards outside the Steve Biko campus in Durban in February.
"All those who are implicated and involved in killing our student must be arrested and prosecuted. The university must also take responsibility and the security company removed and de-registered," said Buthelezi.
"We cannot allow a situation where a student is killed and the justice system delays the process."
At the time, the campus had been shut following days of student protests.
