#Durbanshooting: Police say fourth person confirmed dead

Police have confirmed that a fourth person involved in yesterday's shooting in the Durban city centre has died.

Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says the 29-year-old man died in hospital last night.
"There is one inquest docket that is being investigated - and three murders as well as four attempted murders. The other four victims were taken to hospital in a critical condition."

The shooting took place inside a metro cop's flat. The officer - who was off-duty is among those who died.
Another person escaped unharmed after hiding in the toilet.
Mbele has also confirmed that the officer's pistol which was thrown outside the window - was the only gun on scene and was removed.
