A woman is making her first appearance in a Durban court in connection with the murder of her cop fiance.
The 34-year-old was arrested over the weekend in a joint operation by members of the Provincial Organised Crime Unit, KwaDukuza Police, uMhlali Task Team and the K9 Unit.
Two years ago, Sergeant Sakhile Manyisa was found dead on the stairs of a flat which he shared with the woman in Tongaat.

"With no information coming out of those who could have possibly seen or heard something, the investigating team pulled out all stops in the search for justice and all pieces of information led to the then fiancé.
On Saturday, 24 February 2024 the team pounced on the 34-year-old suspect at a fast food outlet in Waterloo where she worked as a store manager."
