Durban woman, 19, in court for drug dealing

A 19-year-old Durban woman is due to appear in the Verulam Magistrate's Court, north of Durban, today on drug-related charges.
The woman's arrest on Friday came just hours after police nabbed seven other people at a house in Phoenix - including an alleged drug kingpin and his wife.

The teenager is thought to be the kingpin's daughter. All the suspects are apparently members of the notorious Bloodz gang.
"The members also continued with their operations on Friday morning where they arrested a 19-year-old suspect after she was found in possession of heroine, cocaine and mandrax. The total value of what was recovered is R20 000, " police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says.
