The 33-year-old man appeared in the Durban Magistrates Court yesterday, facing charges of sexual grooming.

The National Prosecuting Authority's Natasha Ramkisson-Kara says the teacher is due to appear in court again next month.

"The matter was adjourned to June 30. The accused has been given a few bail conditions - those include that he must relocate from the Bluff area and he should not communicate with or interfere with the family members of the complainant. Thirdly, he must report twice weekly to the Bluff police station," she said.
