Durban shopping centre reopened after bomb threat
Updated | By Bernadette Wolhuter
Operations at Cornubia Mall, north of Durban, are continuing after a bomb scare at the busy shopping centre this morning.
The latest in a series of incidents in and around the city over the course of the last week - it's to have turned out to be a false alarm.
At least six devices have been found at stores and under parked cars in Durban since last Thursday. The Hawks are investigating.

The mall was evacuated this morning. The police had received an anonymous tip-off warning of a threat emanating on the Woolworths store located at the centre. As a result, the whole store was cleared.

Staff and patrons assembled in the parking lot for about an hour while the bomb squad investigated but they have since given the all clear.
At this stage, sources say nothing was found and people are being allowed back in.
