That's where the former president will appear on 16 charges of corruption, fraud, money laundering and racketeering

Metro police say roads in the vicinity of the court will be closed - with traffic officers closely monitoring access to Margaret Mncadi Avenue - the old Victoria Embankment.

A pro-Zuma march is expected ahead of proceedings. It'll start at King Dinuzulu Park with marchers making their way along Dr. Pixley ka Seme Street.

"To the public not involved in the march - please stay away from the high court area on the precinct between Russel Street and the Southern Freeway. This will be before the court appearance and during the court appearance until everything is over. We're setting up a joint operations centre to manage and control the march," Metro Police's Parboo Sewpersad said.

The Metro Police's Parboo Sewpersad says pedestrian fencing and other parking measures will be put in place.

Marchers will converge at King Dinuzulu Park, exit onto Dr. Pixley ka Seme Street, they will continue marching east and onto Yusuf Dadoo Street.

Demonstrators will enter Margaret Mncandi Avenue and will walk in a contraflow direction to traffic. They will then assemble opposite the High Court.
