Durban ready to host Cosafa cup
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Durban will use football tournament, COSAFA, as a means of saying all citizens from neighbouring African countries are welcome.

eThekwini Mayor, Zandile Gumede's briefed the media on the city's readiness to host the prestigious soccer event for the first time. It kicks off next weekend.
Gumede acknowledges that attacks against foreign nationals have flared up in parts of Durban - and around the country - recently.
She says the city will show the continent that everyone's accepted.
She says it's symbolic that the event's being hosted during Africa Month.
Yesterday's media briefing was held a day after Gumede was granted bail by a Durban court after appearing on charges of fraud and corruption.
"Let us embrace each other's cultural, religious and racial difference and promote harmony, and unity amongst all members of our society," she said.
