Durban oil refinery explosion: List of road closures
Medical emergency services have started attending to those affected by this morning's explosion at the Engen oil refinery in the Merebank area, south of Durban.
So far there are no reports of any fatalities.
Metro police say there are multiple roads affected, the following roads are now closed:

- Marine drive and Buldarne Road
- Marine drive and Warangle Road
- All side roads running of Marine drive closed to traffic
- M4 north bound and south bound offramps leading to Merebank, Bluff, is closed.
