Durban mom accused of child's murder to undergo psychological testing
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Prosecutors say a Durban woman accused of the murder of her toddler has been booked for psychological testing.
Teneil Kok was arrested in May after the death of her 3-year-old daughter.
The child had been hit with a rolling pin and was strangled.
Kok previously told the court that she was admitted to mental health facilities before and was currently an outpatient.

KZN NPA spokesperson Natasha Kara says the woman appeared before a Durban magistrate on Wednesday.
"She faces one count of murder. The State advised the court that a booking has been made for her to undergo psychological assessment.
"The woman has abandoned her application for bail and the matter was adjourned to 14 September 2022 for further investigations."
