City Manager, Sipho Nzuza says the metro police have already started policing certain areas, that have been under siege.

"Areas such as Umlazi, Westville, Chatsworth, KwaMashu - where there were numerous reports of burglaries, robberies and hijackings have benefited by having the presence of the Metro Police," he says.
