WATCH: Durban medics avoid hijacking ordeal

Paramedics and an ill patient have managed to escape injury after four men allegedly tried to hijack their ambulance near Ntuzuma last night.
Rescue Care says medics were called to the area's E Section, north of Durban to treat a medical emergency patient last night.

Jamieson says the driver noticed what was going on and quickly sped off.

He says the men then hit the rear of the ambulance and ran after the vehicle, pointing their firearms.
