Durban man electrocuted after leaning on live wire

A man has been electrocuted after leaning on a live wire in Durban's Clare Estate area.
The delivery truck driver had gone to Quarry Road to drop off materials at a house there this morning.

Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says community members quickly came to the man's aid and began performing CPR until medics arrived.
"On arrival, paramedics found members of the public doing CPR on the man, believed to be in his 30s. Medics immediately took over, however the man had sustained serious electrocution injuries and was declared deceased on the scene," he said.

Police are investigating the incident.
