Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
A Durban man will make his first appearance in court this morning in connection with the murder of his grandfather and attempted murder of his father.

It's understood that an altercation broke out between them at their Verulam home on Saturday night.
"Information indicates that a mother and a son were inside the house during the incident and working together to prevent the water from getting inside the house. The 20-year-old picked a knife and stabbed both the grandfather and his father,” says KZN police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda.
