Mandisa Somhlaba, 34, appeared in the Durban Specialised Commercial Crime Court this week for alleged fraud.
It's understood Somhlaba worked as an IT Specialist for a company that provided computer assistance to a major insurance company in Durban.

Hawks officials say for 12 months, from April 2014, Somhlaba allegedly downloaded clients' personal information - including their bank details.
He passed it on to his accomplices, and R253 was deducted from the unsuspecting victims' accounts every month.
Detectives say the insurance company had to repay their clients and suffered a total loss of R1.9 million.
Somhlaba's case was postponed to the end of this month - for further investigations.
